Many thanks for all the offers to follow us and our progress.
This is just to explain that our time here begins with two weeks on holiday with eight others ,friends of ours, at a rather nice place in Goa. So you can go easy on the earnest prayer for a bit. There is no internet facility a our hotel so we wont be coming on line much.
We get to Kothara on February 12th and so will begin proper then.
Even so it is great to be in this amazing subcontinent. We have seen the proverbial cows walking freely down the busy street already, water buffalo and seaeagle. All this as well as the dust, street trading, insistent hawkers and many, many wonderful smiles.

Well lucky you! Anna and I have been to Goa once pre-children. It was an extraordinary place then. The red wine is like a heavy port! We got used to it...along with the excellent beer. Felt very happy and comfortable with the local people. Have good holiday.

Hi Andrew & Elizabeth, At last I have managed it! It sounds like you are having a great time in Goa! I wish I was there......I pray that God gives you great blessing when working for Leprosy Mission and for your healing gifts to flourish. I await your next entry with bated breath :) We are all now back in cold, grey UK and it's 1C as I type. I really enjoyed our time together and look forward to reading your exploits over the next few weeks. Will forward snaps soonest xx
